Unidentified men have invaded the home of a housewife and stabbed her to death at about 4p.m. on Sunday. The 26-year-old victim, Mrs. Yetunde Ogunlola alias Mama Shalom, until her untimely death, resided with her husband at 16, Agunbiade street, Maggi House, opposite Ahmed Primary School, Agege.
Sources told P.M.News this morning, that she was in her 3-bedroom flat with her one-year old child when the men broke into her flat and stabbed her to death. Her husband was away to church when the incident happened. Her murderers were still at large at the time of filing this report.
When P.M.News got to the house this morning, an elderly woman who craved anonymity, described the deceased as 'just too nice, very humble. What could she have done to these wicked people? May her gentle soul rest in peace.' Police detectives from Elere police station have removed her corpse and deposited it at the mortuary for autopsy.
The Lagos State Police Command spokesperson, Supol Frank Mba, confirmed the incident, saying 'it was a sad incident and by the grace of God, we are on the trail of the killers. We shall track them down.' Her corpse will be laid to rest on Sunday at Ayobo, Ipaja, Lagos. At the time of filing this report, her husband could not be reached for comments.
