The sex scandal which rocked Delta Career College, Warri, Delta State, a fortnight ago has assumed another dimension as the school authorities have vowed to take legal action to redeem the name of the institution.
Consequently, the Proprietor and Principal of the school, Mr. Emmanuel Ukerede, described as 'malicious, wicked and a calculated attempt to soil the good name of the school' over the alleged defilement of a nine year-old girl, Miss Whitney Jehovah, a form one student who was alleged to have been defiled by the Fine Art Teacher of the College.
Ukerede accused the mother of the girl, Mrs. Grace Akani Jehovah of raising false alarms all in an attempt to stain the good image of the school.
'The battle line has been drawn and there is no going back as we are ready to go to Court.
'Since little Miss Whitney Jehovah was admitted into Junior Secondary School One (JSS I), the school has not known peace, as it is either a complaint from the mother or from the girl herself,' Ukerede lamented.
According to the proprietor, the teacher who the mother accused of raping or defiling her daughter was invigilating a biology examination in the on-going November/December General Certificate Education (GCE). Examination.
Ukerede maintained that there was no iota of truth in the girl's mother's claim that the fine art eacher defiled her daughter.
