A suspected petroleum pipeline vandal, Mr. Tajudeen Muraina, operating at Imoore town in Oriade Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has been arrested by the police.
P.M.News gathered that the suspect was arrested at the residence of one of the community leaders at Mumini Aroway, Ijegun, Lagos.
Investigations revealed that residents of the community were happy over the arrest of the man they described as a 'terror.'
The Asalu of the town, Chief Fatai Akanni Kaffo, said: 'I am happy that the man was arrested. This man has turned himself into a tin-god in the community.
Hon. Zacheaus Olayemi, a former councillor in the old Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Council and the secretary of the Imoore Community Development Area (CDA), said: 'He was arrested on the festival day at the residence of one of the community leaders in Ijegun by a team of policemen, led by Corporal Arowole. He is currently being detained at the Satellite Town Police Station and I believe the police would soon arraigned him in court.'
Policemen at the Satellite Town Station confirmed the arrest and assured that the culprit would soon be transferred to the state police command.
