Lagos state deputy governor, Princess Sarah Sosan, has moved into the Alausa Round House recently vacated by governor Babatunde Fashola.

Fashola moved out of the Round House to the new Lagos State House, Ikeja, on 1 September, 2008. Sosan thus becomes the first deputy governor of Lagos state to occupy the Round House, which has been the seat of government for over 30 years.

The deputy governor was seen yesterday, having a feel of the ramp as her convoy drove on it for the first time since assumption of office. The ramp had been the exclusive reserve of the governor and his visitors.

P.M.News observed that the Press and Public Relations Department of the deputy governor's office have started moving out of their former office.

The deputy governor's media aide, Mr. Lanre Bajulaiye, told P.M.News that his boss has moved out of Block 10 which used to be her former office. He said the movement of everybody to the Round House would be completed by tomorrow.

Sources at the Secretariat said the Commissioner for Tourism and Inter-Governmental Relations, Senator Tokunbo Afikuyomi, would move into the office vacated by the deputy governor as he had not been operating from a particular office since he became commissioner.
