Nigerian-born internationally acclaimed reggae music star and acclaimed rainmaker, Majekodunmi Fasheke, otherwise known as Majek Fashek, has arrived his fatherland from his base in the United States of America.
He arrived the shores of this country over the weekend, and will be touring 11 cities during a concert tagged: Return of the Rainmaker.
P.M.News gathered that part of the funds raised from the charity concert, which will be held in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Kaduna, Calabar, Enugu, Yenagoa and Benin, will be donated to the less privileged in the country.
The concert, which will commence on Friday, is being organised by EJ and Associates, a company with branches in the United States and Nigeria.
Speaking shortly after his arrival, the Send Down The Rain crooner said: 'It is good to be home. Honestly, I'm happy to be here because there is no place like home.'
Commenting on the rumours concerning his health, he said, 'it is unfortunate because I don't know where all the stories were coming from. I'm fine, my children and wife are also cool, so there's no problem at all.
'I don't know why they are saying all these things about me, I'm not a bad person so I think I don't deserve this from the press.'
