It also rendered a family homeless as it destroyed their room and ended up blocking the entrance of the building.

Community leaders living in the street who witnessed the incident thanked God that there were no children playing around the affected house as the truck would have ended up crushing them.
They, however, told Daily Sun that the moving vehicle also destroyed one of Power Holding electric poles, while a trader in the neighbourhood, Hope Iruanovwe, claimed that the vehicle also destroyed her goods worth over N40,000.

Meanwhile, the driver of the truck, with registration number XR 724 EKY, was said to have been arrested by policemen from Ajegunle Division.
Daily Sun gathered that the driver came down to operate the machine that would open the carrier when the vehicle, an automatic, suddenly started moving on its own.
The owner of the affected Camry car Ben Nwariwe, lamented the destruction of the car which he said he bought at N700,000
