As the crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Anambra State continues, a group known as Anambra Renaissance Movement has accused the National Chairman of the party, Prince Vincent Ogbulafor of deliberately fuelling the crisis for pecuniary interest.

The group in a statement signed by Ezeobi Stanley, National President, and Okafor Ifeanyi Maxwell ESQ, Publicity Secretary made available to Sunday Sun in Abuja alleged that Prince Ogbulafor has proved his critics right by his role in the crisis in Anambra insisting that he was a man of unsteady character.

The group further called on Ndi Anambra to all rise up to the challenge and resist the PDP National Chairman's inordinate ambition adding that posterity will never forgive them if they fold their arms and allow Prince Ogbulafor to plunge the Party and the People of Anambra into a political dungeon.

According to the groups' President, " the joy of genuine party faithful in Anambra State knew no bounds when Ogbulafor emerged National Chairman although greater percentage of Party supporters in Anambra had reservations about his emergence going by his track records of mad quest to accumulate material wealth at all cost and uncanny ability to do the unthinkable.

"A fortnight in his leadership, Ogbulafor proved critics right as a man of unsteady character. He first gave his support to Dr. Alex Ekwueme's stakeholders meeting in Awka on 4th April, 2008 whose recommendations he did not implement. He later inaugurated the South East Action Committee led by Senator Jim Nwobodo. Then he inaugurated the Chuma Nwofor-led Congress committee, which he disbanded before inaugurating the Deputy National Secretary of the Party as congress committee chairman.

"On the other hand, he also constituted the congress monitoring team led by Senator Jim Nwobodo whose report he did not even receive before appointing Prof. Jerry Gana's peace and reconciliation committee. Prince Ogbulafor's leadership portends bad omen for PDP", the group stated.
