Action Congress chairmanship candidate in Itire/Ikate Local Council Development Area, Lagos State, Hakeem Bamgbola, has begun a process of reconciliation with other aspirants, as well as party leaders, in the area.

Speaking exclusively with P.M.News at the Lagos Island Maternity Hospital, where he had gone to visit the family of Mr. Ojo, whose wife recently gave birth to a set of quadruplets, Bamgbola said the process of reconciliation and meetings had begun so that the party can become united and work for victory at the local government general elections, slated for 11 October.

He said since other parties had resolved to participate in the elections scheduled to take place in the 20 local government areas and 37 local council development areas, it is important that everybody should bury the hatchet and work to ensure the party's victory at the polls.

On his visit to the hospital, he said the father of the quadruplets, Mr. Ojo, is a staff of Itire/Ikate LCDA, and he came to congratulate him on the birth of the new babies and to render financial support. He appealed to other well-meaning Nigerians to lend a hand of support to the couple.
