The Muslim Nurses Forum of the Lagos State University Teaching Hopital (LASUTH) has held its maiden Ramadan lecture.
The Chairman, planning committee of the Forum, Alhaja Nurat Toyin Agbeniga, a chief nursing officer at LASUTH, said the essence of the lecture is for nurses to develop themselves spiritually and reflect this on patients.
'We also intend to share the blessings of Ramadan with the patients. We had earlier visited the wards and gave patients some gifts and words of encouragement,' she added.
Mrs. Agbeniga also appealed for funds from the Lagos State Governor, Barrister Babatunde Fashola, and other well-meaning Nigerians towards the building of a befitting mosque in LASUTH.
