Speaking to Sunday Sun in an exclusive interview at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka venue of the just concluded All Anglican Clergy Conference, the cleric said one of the objectives of the conference was to pass a vote of confidence on the Archbishop Metropolitan and Primate of All Nigeria (Anglican Communion), Most Rev. Peter Jasper Akinola, for his firm and courageous stand on the controversial gay bishop issue.
Marriage by man to man, he said, is alien to Nigeria and contravenes God's law, adding that they (Anglican priests) were impressed with what the Primate was doing to uphold the Anglican Communion worldwide.
He said that at the meeting in Jerusalem, the Primate was unequivocal that the Anglican Communion Nigeria is against same-sex marriage or ordination of gay bishops.
'The essence of the conference is to reappraise and endorse what the Anglican Communion Nigeria did at Gafgon, Jerusalem, in support of the Bible-oriented act of marriage; that Anglican Church of Nigeria is against the gay marriage organized by the Western world, especially America.
'So, we are very much impressed by the stand of our leader, which is the stand of the Anglican Church in Nigeria. Every true clergy in Nigeria is in full support of what Archbishop Akinola has done for the world and Nigeria in particular.
'That is exactly what we are saying because it is not biblical and out of tune with God's plan. God created man and woman to be married to themselves. The situation whereby man will be married to man is wrong and unacceptable.

The gay issue is not biblical. Even among animals, you don't see male mating with its kind. God created man in his own image and likeness. When He saw the loneliness of man, he took his rib and created woman and gave her to man as wife. The issue of gay bishop does not arise.
Why did white people get involved in the gay issue?
They are very funny people. They keep animals as pets. They kiss animals and carry them like humans. As for their human level, I don't know what to say, but their Christian level is another thing. They are not good Christians. This is why they are re-evangelizing them. We have our ministers in Britain, America and all parts of the world who are re-evangelizing the white people.
