He also gave instances where materials had been heaped at sites and engineers commenced work only for the rain to wash away all materials that were brought to site and thus disrupt the planned rehabilitation programme.
He however assured Lagosians, that irrespective of the weather condition 'My utmost target is to provide a smooth and motorable road for Lagosians to drive through'.
He appealed to Lagosians that the State Government is aware of some bad spots in the state. This he attributed to the ages of these roads and the daily usage, which has been the reason they go bad any time it rains.
He however assured that irrespective of the weather condition , programmes have been put in place to make the roads motorable in the state. These maintenance programmes are to be carried out in phases. 'As soon as we finish from a local government we shall move to another,' he stated'
