An auto parts dealer at Ladipo market, Oshodi, Lagos, Mr. Uchendu Eze Sunday, has been arrested by officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, with several wraps of cocaine worth N13 million.

P.M.News learnt that the suspect concealed some wraps of the illicit drugs in the false bottom of his travel bag and ingested 84 wraps of same substance before he was picked up at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos.

Uchendu was about to board a KLM flight to Amsterdam, when he was nabbed.
The quantity he packed in the bag weighed 3.478 kg, while the 84 wraps he swallowed weighed 1.469 kg, bringing the total weight to 4.947 kg.
NDLEA said that the arrest represents one of the biggest single seizures by a courier in the last three months .
P.M.News learnt that the suspect, who would have been paid the sum of 3,000 pounds, attributed his arrest to the devil.
He said: 'It is a spiritual manipulation, all I get goes in vain. Today I no longer have a shop. I met a man who promised to help me by introducing me into drugs. I never knew that he was adding to my problem.' P.M.News gathered that the suspect lives at Bariga, Lagos, with his wife and three children.
