Two men, Taofeek Ahmed, 41, and Rasheed Lawal, 24, have been arraigned before a Chief Magistrate's Court, Ogudu for stealing.
Two men, Taofeek Ahmed, 41, and Rasheed Lawal, 24, have been arraigned before a Chief Magistrate's Court, Ogudu for stealing.
They were arraigned on a four-count charge of stealing N150,000 belonging to David Badejogbin, unlawful assault, conspiracy to commit felony and wilful and malicious damage of properties of Badejogbin Akinyemi.
The offences are punishable under Sections 516, 390 (a), 351 and 451 of the Criminal Code, Cap.C.17, Vol. II, Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2003.
They pleaded not guilty to the charges while Chief Magistrate Adeola O. Adedayo granted them bail in the sum of N50,000 each with one surety each in like sum.
The magistrate ordered that the sureties must be gainfully employed.
The case has been adjourned till 10 September, 2008 for hearing.
