Oseghale, Arobieke, Alli Win AC Tickets Unopposed


For five chairmanship aspirants on the platform of the Action Congress (AC) for the state council elections, the coast has been cleared, as they have been given the party’s tickets unopposed.

For five chairmanship aspirants on the platform of the Action Congress (AC) for the state council elections, the coast has been cleared, as they have been given the party’s tickets unopposed.

At the stakeholders’ meeting of the party, which took place yesterday, it was decided that they should be given the party’s ticket.

Those cleared by the party are the immediate chairmen of Isolo, Agboyi-Ketu and Ijede LCDAs, Mrs. Modupe Fafowora-Oseghale, Mrs. Yetunde Arobieke and Mrs. Fausatu Gbadebo respectively, erstwhile chairman of Ojuwoye LCDA, Alhaji Adeyemi Alli and Yinka Durosinmi for Ojo Local Government.

The party, according to our source, returned the three women because of its gender sensitivity, and to encourage more women participation in politics, while the other two were selected for their contributions to the party.

Our source said former governor of the state, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; state AC chairman, Oladele Ajomale and other prominent leaders of the party were at the meeting.
