OPC Leader Bags Chieftaincy Title


Leader of the O'dua People Congress (OPC), Chief Gani Adams, and wife, were last Saturday, in Lagos, honoured with chieftaincy titles by the traditional ruler of Ojokoroland, Oba Riliwanu Oluwalambe Taiwo.

Leader of the O'dua People Congress (OPC), Chief Gani Adams, and wife, were last Saturday, in Lagos, honoured with chieftaincy titles by the traditional ruler of Ojokoroland, Oba Riliwanu Oluwalambe Taiwo.

The occasion was the fifth coronation anniversary of the monarch held at the Ebenezer Comprehensive High School compound, Ojokoro, Lagos.

Adams was honoured with the title of Apase O'dua of Ojokoroland, while his wife was honoured with the title of Yeye O'dua of Ojokoroland.

The monarch, while conferring the titles on the national coordinator of OPC and his wife, alongside other eminent personalities in the area, said those honoured had contributed meaningfully to the advancement of the society and humanity in general, while the array of monarchs and political bigwigs in the state who attended the historic event, were thrilled by Ogun State-based fuji musician, Alhaji Shefiu Adekunle Alao.
