Virgin Nigeria, this morning, failed to relocate its domestic operations from the International Wing of the Lagos Airport to the new domestic terminal known as MMA2. The MMA2 is being managed by Bi-courteny Aviation Services Limited.
The Federal Government, last night, issued a reminder to the airline, ordering it to relocate all its domestic operations before 12 a.m. today, and not 12 a.m tomorrow, as reported by daily newspapers.
Though Virgin Nigeria displayed its logo at MMA2 last week, this morning, the airline was yet to relocate. There was no staff, office, or its flights taking off or landing at MMA2 when our reporter visited MMA2 this morning.
The FG has ordered the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) to ensure that the airline relocates today, but Samuel Ogbogoro, the airline's spokesperson, last week said that they will not relocate until the matter is decided in court.
