Flood took over the premises of Area ‘G' Police Command, Ogba, on Monday, and prevented policemen from performing their duties.
P.M.News gathered that the rain, which fell for about 30 minutes, led to the flooding of the premises of the command and other adjoining roads, including Ijaiye and Abisogun Leigh Street. Passers by and motorists were seen wadding through the flood which caused traffic gridlock on these roads.
Men and officers of the command were seeing waiting for the water to subside before they could step out of their offices. Investigations by P.M.News showed that the drainages on both sides of the roads were already blocked before the rain started and this inhibited the free flow of water.
