Veteran broadcaster and chieftain of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Yemi Farounbi, has lost his wife.
P.M.News gathered that Chief (Mrs.) Adenike Farounbi, a renowned fashion designer, died this morning at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, after a domestic accident in her Bodija, Ibadan, home. The mother of the Osun State Commissioner for Commerce, Mrs. Ayo Seriki, was aged 61.
As at the time of filing this report, sympathisers from all walks of life had started arriving the home of Chief Farounbi, a member of the PDP Reconciliation Committee, to condole with him on the sudden death of his wife.
