Artistes Defy Rain To Honour Aromire


Actors, actresses and marketers this morning stormed the National Arts Theatre to pay their last respects to the late Prince Muyideen Alade Aromire.

Actors, actresses and marketers this morning stormed the National Arts Theatre to pay their last respects to the late Prince Muyideen Alade Aromire.

As early as 8.00 a.m. sympathisers had trooped to the National Arts Theatre, venue of the lying in state. The corpse was in white casket made by Ashes-to-Ashes.

There was wailing and shedding of tears as the corpse arrived the venue.

At the time of filing this report, the President of ANTP, Prince Jide Kosoko, in company of Gbenga Adewusi and other members of ANTP, had arrived the scene.

The lying in state was anchored by Tayo Adesola and Elder Ola Kazeem who said the opening prayers.

The actors and actresses at the scene include Moji Olaiya, Yetunde Wunmi, Jide Kosoko, Bose Olubo, Gbenga Adewusi and several other marketers.

All the mourners wore white T-shirts with Alade’s picture and the inscription Celebration Of Life of Late Prince Alade printed on them.
