Officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, have arrested a 41-year-old man, Yusuf Hakeem Ajibola, with 19 wraps of cocaine concealed in his pant. Sources said the street value of the drug is worth N4 million.

The suspect was apprehended at the departure hall of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos, during the screening of passengers on Virgin Atlantic flight to London on Tuesday night.
Narrating his ordeal to NDLEA, Ajibola said that a friend of his introduced him into the illegal drug business. 'He gave me 440 British pounds sterling and promised to pay me 5,000 British pounds sterling when I get to London," he said. Ajibola, a HND holder in building Engineering from the London College of Engineering, is from Olorunda Local Government Area of Osun State.
He said he has been living in London for the past 18 years. Other drug traffickers picked up on Tuesday are; 51-year-old carpenter, Muyideen Abiodun Bello, and Ike Ifeanyi Stanley, who said he is 31 years old. Muyideen admitted that greed and love for easy money lured him into the drug business.
He said: 'I have entered London twice with 500 grammes of cocaine. My old friend introduced me into the business. He paid me 1,500 pounds each on the previous trips. As I am doing it, I do not like it. But it is greed. This is arrest from God. God wants me to stop the business". He had swallowed 80 wraps of cocaine before he was caught. The NDLEA said the suspect had excreted 42 wraps as at last night.
He is from Ikorodu Local Government Area of Lagos State, and was on his way to Amsterdam, Holland. Stanley, the third suspect, had ingested 92 wraps of cocaine when NDLEA officials arrested him. He is from Isu Local Government Area of Imo State.
