WAfrica Crude-Nigerian eases on limited U.S. arb

Nigerian cargoes started selling at lower differentials due to limited arbitrage to the United States and weaker margins, while Angolan August dealings were about to conclude, traders said on Thursday.

LONDON, July 10 (Reuters) - Nigerian cargoes started selling at lower differentials due to limited arbitrage to the United States and weaker margins, while Angolan August dealings were about to conclude, traders said on Thursday.

Traders said August 12-13 Qua Iboe was sold to a U.S. buyer. This was not confirmed.

The price details of the deal was not available. But benchmarks Qua Iboe and Bonny Light were assessed at dated Brent plus about $4.30 a barrel. Some traders even assessed the differentials at as low as $4.00/$4.10.

Some other Nigerian deals, including Amenam, were heard but details did not emerge.

Most Angolan cargoes were heard sold ahead of the start of programmes release next week.

Girassol for August 27-28 was sold to Petronas at an undisclosed price.

Trades said some cargoes, including Nemba, remained unsold.

The tender results of Indian Oil Corp (IOC) were not yet available. (Reporting by Ikuko Kao)
