The National Co-ordinator of Orji Uzor Kalu National Support Organisation (ONSO), Dr Uwunna Uche has commended the initiative of Dr Orji Uzor Kalu in playing politics of inclusion and togetherness.
The National Co-ordinator of Orji Uzor Kalu National Support Organisation (ONSO), Dr Uwunna Uche has commended the initiative of Dr Orji Uzor Kalu in playing politics of inclusion and togetherness.
The commendation came after a recent three-day visit by Governor Kalu to his Imo State counterpart, Governor Achike Udenwa.
Dr Uche described the development as a sign to other blocks of the polity to the fact that come 2007, the issue of Igbo presidency will not be negotiable.
He commended the new level of partnership and renaissance of the new Igbo spirit of brotherliness which exist between South East governors as exemplified in the three-day visit of Governor Kalu to Achike Udenwa of Imo State.
"This portends good for Igbo nation in particular and Nigeria in general and demonstrate the unity of purpose of the Igbo leaders against the backdrop of contrary opinions that Igbos are not unity.
According to him, supporters of Dr Kalu in the two states visited are committed to ensuring that an Igbo man in the person of Governor Kalu will eventually emerge as the presidential candidate of the Igbo nation," he said.
