The Police has deposited in the mortuary the corpse of a football fan who died while viewing the finals of European Club Championship cup otherwise known as UEFA between two English Clubs, Chelsea and Manchester United.

Chidi Okereke, according to police source, slumped and died as he queued to watch the tension soaked match.
The deceased, who resided at Ibadiaran Street in Onigbongbo area of Maryland suddenly collapsed and all efforts to revive him as he was rushed to the hospital failed to yield any positive effect.
Confirming the incident, the spokesman for Lagos State Police Command, Deputy Suprintendent of Police, Frank Mba, said the body was taken to the mortuary for autopsy while investigation on the matter continues.
In another development, fans of Manchester United FC were said to have stabbed a Chelsea fan at Amukoko area of the state while Chelsea supporters also stabbed two of their opponents with bottles at Okoya area over betting.
The Amukoko incident, Daily Sun gathered occurred when alleged fanatical fans of Manchester during jubilation met a fan in Chelsea's blue uniform and they were said to have asked: 'Man U or Chelsea?" and the fan responded 'Chelsea," according to the source, the youth was stabbed at the back.
The man who bet with his friends that Manchester would win had demanded for his N5,000 from the Chelsea fan who later stabbed him and another man.
Meanwhile, thousands of soccer fans were present at St Mary's Catholic Church, Awodiora, Ajegunle on Sunday for a special thanksgiving.
When the victorious Manchester fans were called for their thanksgiving, there was thunderous ovation as large numbers of them numbering over a thousand filed out.
Thank God no matter the situation the church told Chelsea supporter who also filed out, screaming 'Up Blues."
