Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Progressive Peoples Alliance (PPA), Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu and the PPA national chairman, Clement Ebri, have congratulated newly elected national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Vincent Ogbulafor.

'It is our collective hope that your choice to lead the party at this time is a wise one, informed, no doubt, by your wealth of experience and knowledge of the inner workings of the party machinery.
'It is also our sincere hope that your tenure will witness ever greater co-operation between our two parties in our shared commitment to the progress and accelerated development of our dear country," Dr. Kalu stated in his one page letter.
In his own letter, chairman Ebri expressed confidence in the ability of Ogbulafor to warm up to the challenges of his new office.
'Given the existing cordial relationship between our two parties, I look forward to even greater co-operation in the months ahead so that together we can contribute to the accelerated development of our dear country," Ebri noted.
Both letters were dated March 11, 2008.
