The Commissioner of Police in Zamfara, Alhaji Ibrahim P. Machi is out for the jugular of armed robbers who are foolhardy enough to venture into the state.
The Commissioner of Police in Zamfara, Alhaji Ibrahim P. Machi is out for the jugular of armed robbers who are foolhardy enough to venture into the state.
Describing the state as the most peaceful and crime free, Alhaji Machi said: 'I am happy that my mission is fulfiled. What I mean is that I want to be remembered, even in death, that during my tenure in Zamfara, criminals had no hiding place.
'With the way my men are patrolling all over, I believe criminals now find it difficult to cross Zamfara border. We patrol day and night to make sure that robbers are kept at bay. I can tell you that what I am doing now, only God can pay me and my men. I want a clean and free society and my dream has become a reality. Zamfara is 99 per cent crime free."
Alhaji Machi attributed what he had achieved to teamwork, which he said must be kept up.
