The Nigeria Football Association (NFA) at the weekend shortlisted six indigenous coaches set to take over from sacked Super Eagles coach, Berti Vogts. Leading the pack are Stephen Keshi, Samson Siasia and Daniel Amokachi.
Others are former Nigerian goalkeeper, Alloy Agu and Vogts assistant, Austin Eguavoen as well as erstwhile Super Eagles coach, Shiabu Amodu.
The shortlisted coaches have been instructed to attend interview at the NFA Glass House in Abuja on Wednesday.
Though Siasia was among the six invited for interview, there are strong indications that he would be left out to concentrate on handling the U-23 Olympics team billed to tackle South Africa's Amaglug-glug next month in the final Olympics qualifier match.
Other national team coaches like Beach Soccer, Falcons and Falconets who are engaged in international competitions will also retain their jobs.
