Chairman, Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, Senator Jubril Aminu has again stirred the hornet's nest by taking on the duo of former petroleum minister, Prof. Tam David-West and Vice Chairman of Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), Senator Joseph Waku, describing them as a bunch of disappointment.
Aminu, in an interview in Saturday Sun, dismissed Waku as a nonentity and tagged David-West as his sworn enemy who can't see anything good in him.

But in a swift reaction weekend, Waku stung him like a bee. Without mincing words, Waku described Aminu's attempt at disparaging him as 'the noise of a shameless old man who enjoys dragging others down to climb up."

According to the former senator, 'Aminu has brought me into an interview he organized to justify his wickedness to his own kinsman from Adamawa, that is, General Marwa. You can see the load of contradictions in this interview where he tried to disparage me and David-West.

'In one breadth, he (Aminu) said he refused to clear Marwa and Nwite because of unfavourable security reports which border on mere allegations that have not been proved in any law court. On the other hand, he was trying to crucify those of us who made comments on his Siemens bribery allegation.

'He said the allegation that he collected millions of naira as bribe from Siemens has not been proved in any court, yet he was trying to employ another allegation that has not been proved against Marwa or Nwite to stop them from being ambassadors. That shows you Aminu is not just a disappointment to himself, the Senate, Adamawa State and Nigeria, but a shameless, cruel and wicked entity."
He asked Aminu to go and seek forgiveness from those he has wronged rather than trying to justify a wicked act.

'Aminu only tried to bring me and David-West into that interview to cover his shame and wickedness. Were it not for Marwa who put down his resources and everything to change the political equation of Adamawa and restore PDP's fortune, where would Aminu be today? Was he not in Adamawa before Marwa came in? What was he able to do? He should shut up and bury his head in shame. No amount of attack on Waku or David-West can wash his guilt away or lift the moral burden of his involvement in the Siemens bribery scandal," Waku stated.

He charged Aminu to grow up and live like an elderstatesman where he should belong rather than playing dirty politics and justifying evil.
'I thought he should have learnt a lot from the way his colleagues in the Senate dressed him down over the ambassadorial screening thing but his latest interview shows that he's an unrepentant evil doer and he should be reminded that whatever a man sows he shall reap," he added.
