The Deeper Christian Life Ministry World-Wide has concluded arrangements to stage a five-day Great Revival crusade and ministers conference in Port Harcourt.
Disclosing this to newsmen in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State Overseer of the ministry, Mr. Edison G. Daminabo said the General Superintendent of the ministry, Pastor W.F. Kumuyi will be in Port Harcourt on May 11, 2005 for the crusade which will take place at the play ground opposite the convocation Arena or Rivers State University of Science and Technology.
Mr. Daminabo pointed out that crusade was intended to bring sanity through the Bible into the society that is degenerating at a geometrical rate, noting that, where guns and legislations has failed to bring about the desired development the Bible was bound to register laudable achievements.
The state Overseer said during the crusade, miracles that would change the lives of individuals will take place, adding that Port Harcourt was chosen because of its conglomerate nature with people of varying cultures and industries.
He said the General superintendent on arrival would pay a courtesy visit on Governor Peter Odili who has been favourably disposed to receiving religious leaders due to their vital role in bringing success to any administration.
Mr. Daminabo also disclosed that over two million people are expected at the crusade while programmes during the event will be transmitted live to Africa, Europe and America.
