FIRST Bank has deployed 75 Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) to some of its branches as part of its rejuvenation exercise.
A statement issued by the bank in Lagos said that the deployment of the ATMs where aside from its 251 branches and agencies offering on-line real time services.
It said that the ultimate goal of the bank was to create an internationally competitive world-class mega brand which "shall be based on a dogged actualisation of the twin objectives of growth and modernisation."
The bank said that its chief executive had assured the investing community of the bank's determination to pursue its strategic transformation in response to changing operational environment and aggressive competition.
It said that the bank has recently absorbed 850 fresh graduates into its workforce as part of the new initiative.
The bank said that the new intakes had started their banking career at a colourful ceremony where they were inducted by the managing director and some top executives of the bank.
