Dream Team IV handler, Samson Siasia, has assured that his team would represent Nigeria and Africa in Beijing 2008 Olympic, despite playing 1-1 against the Amaglug-glug of South Africa last Wednesday.
Chievo Verona striker, Obinna Nsofor, scored first in the match when he converted a spot kick in the 10th minute, after Lyn Oslo star, Chinedu Ogbuke was fouled in the box before the home team rallied to equalize in the match.
Siasia was, however, happy for at least picking a draw in the away game despite the visa problem his team were faced with prior to the match.
"I think it was a good match and a good result for us if you consider the visa problems we were confronted with in the build up to this match. We also missed the services of some of our key players like Onyekachi Apam, Sani Kaita and team captain, Promise Isaac among others.
"But I am impressed with the performance of the boys that played this match against the South Africans. I also believe that we are still very much on course to book a ticket to next year's Olympics in Beijing," the Nigeria's Olympic soccer team handler said.
He also plans to discuss with the Nigeria Football Association (NFA) on his next programme to achieve results in the remaining two games away to Ghana in November and the last match against South Africa in Nigeria.
"I need to talk to the FA on the need to take these boys to Europe for serious camping in preparation for the remaining two matches. Our next game is in November against Ghana and we need at least a draw in Ghana and a win at home against South Africa before we can be home and dry as regards picking the sole ticket of the Olympics in our group.
"Ghana is a formidable side and we must not treat the match with kid's gloves. We need to prepare very well to get a result against the team. But I know I have capable and quality players that can get a good result against Ghana, but we need to prepare adequately for our remaining matches," Siasia told Kick Off exclusively from South Africa.
