In a paid advertisement yesterday and signed by the school's Registrar, M. O. Ogunniyi the highest number of 155 came from the Business Admin department in the regular students category, followed by Banking and Finance department with 114 and 51 from the Business Admin department in the part time programme category.
Others shown the door also came from the departments of English (1), History (1), English Education (1), Economics Edu-cation (2), Electrical Electronics (7),Civil Engineering (3), Mechcanical Engineering (3), Law (5), Account (44), BFN (23), Economics (37), Philosiphy (1), Psychology (8), Political Science (10), Biochemis-try (2), Chemistry (2), Geology (4), Computer Science(1) and Geography/ Regional Planning (46).
The Registrar urged the public particularly parents, guardians and the authorities of other tertiary institutions in Nigeria to note the expelled students.
It would be recalled that just last month, the Acting Rector of Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun State, Joseph Oke had announced the expulsion of 150 students for falsifying their admission papers and some disgruntled students of the school had attempted to cause riots on Monday following publication of the expulsion list and the results of the last semester examinations.
Also more than 80 students of Olabisi Onabanjo University in Ago-Iwoye were expelled or suspended for alleged murder, armed robbery, secret cult activities and forgery. The names, photographs, identification numbers, courses of study and other details of the students were published by the authorities the school.
