The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN), has approved the appointment of two new Senior Special Assistants responsible for Media, as well as Speech and Communication.
The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN), has approved the appointment of two new Senior Special Assistants responsible for Media, as well as Speech and Communication.
The Senior Special Assistant on Media, Mr. Hakeem Bello, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Ilorin and a Master of Arts also in English from the University of Ibadan .
A versatile, experienced and widely traveled journalist, Mr. Bello, who began his journalism career in 1991, was at various times Head, Weekend Extra, Sunday Times, Assistant Editor, Sunday Times, Editor, Daily Times on Saturday, Editor, Daily Times and Executive Editor, National Interest newspaper.
He has been a member of the World Editors Forum since 2004.
Dr. Tunde Olusola Opeibi, the Senior Special Assistant on Speech and Communication to the Governor holds a Bachelor of Arts (upper division), Master of Arts and PhD degrees in English from the University of Lagos with specialization in socio-linguistics. Until his appointment, Dr. Opeibi is a Lecturer 1 in the Department of English of the University of Lagos.
