The 30-year-old Canadian music star showed off his creepy altered face in the video for his new song, “Save Your Tears,” which premiered Tuesday and is from his “After Hours” album.
In the music video, the singer can be seen with drastic facial alterations making him nearly unrecognizable as he displays a thinned (and crooked) nose, bloated cheeks, puffed-up lips, surgery scars and other horrific new features.
The last time The Weeknd performed “Save Your Tears” was at the 2020 American Music Awards, when his entire face was mysteriously covered in bandages.
Now, he’s showing fans what was really going on underneath after he shared a selfie with his transformed face on Instagram, making fans to freak out some more.
While they look convincing, it was learnt that the changes are simply prosthetics, applied by Mike Marino of Prosthetic Renaissance, who explained on Instagram that it was simply “weird plastic surgery make up.”
