Don Jazzy, the legendary music producer, has reacted to a video showing a taxi driver being tortured and pepper-sprayed by security officers at the Lekki tollgate.

Security officers pepper-sprayed the cab driver, who had a swollen red eye in the video, after attempting to force him into a Black Maria at Lekki Toll Gate following the ongoing #EndSARS commemoration demonstration.

The cab driver insisted on not entering the Black Maria since he is not a thief, despite the fact that security personnel did not specify the man’s offence.

While being carried by security officers, he was also heard insisting that none of his “family members had entered such a car,” and that he is simply a cab driver.

Don Jazzy, who shared the footage on his Instagram account, expressed his displeasure with the police officers’ treatment of the young man.

He went on to say that officials will continue to deny carrying out such an act, just as they did when they shot nonviolent protestors at the Lekki tollgate.

“As obvious as this is, they’ll come out tomorrow and deny it,” he predicted.

Other celebrities, like Timini Egbuson, Mr. Macaroni, Zoro, OAP Dotun, and others, criticized the act after seeing the video.
