Sam Azoka Onyechi

Sam Azoka Onyechi , chief executive officer, Inspection and Tests Nigeria Limited, ITL, 48, July 4. Born in   Ogidi, Anambra State, he was educated at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English.

He founded ITL Training and Certification Limited, a specialist training school working in collaboration with The Welding Institute of UK, TWI, to train and certify Nigerians in welding inspection and non-destructive testing for the oil and gas industry.

He is also a playwright and poet. His latest book of poems published in the United States entitled Miasma is a satire of wasted opportunities in Nigeria arising from unbridled greed and leadership myopia.
