Gospel's studio production skill and passion first gained expression at the age of 17 when he produced a ten track gospel choir album for his parent's church. As a teenager, he joined several music groups, performed in different shows and concerts and also co-produced and performed as lead keyboardist for a live recording concert. His prolific piano skill in contemporary and classical music singled him out as he was recognized and given an award as the best instrumentalist on campus at the kogi state university 2006 campus shakers award.
Gospel began his music career full time in late 2006 working as an in-house music producer/sound engineer at ET-quake multimedia Nig. Ltd. under the tutelage of the legendary Tee Y-Mix.
