In an effort to bring to fruition the political aspirationof Hon. Dakuku Peterside to represent Andoni, Opobo/Nkoro Federal Constituency, in the House ofRepresentative, a political pressure group under the aegis of “Opobians in Diaspora ” has drummedsupport for Hon. Dakuku Peterside.

 

The group intention to support the aspirant was contained ina letter sent to Senibo Chris Finebone, Spokesman & Chairman Publicity SubCommittee for Hon Dakuku Campaign Organization, quote the group as saying:

 

“We the Executives andMembers of Opobians in Diaspora write to inform you in your capacity asSpokesman & Chairman, Publicity Sub-Committee of Hon Dakuku CampaignOrganization; of the formation of this group in support of the election of ourbrother Hon. Dakuku Peterside to represent Andoni, Opobo/Nkoro Federal Constituency, in the House ofRepresentative.

“We pledge our totalsupport for Hon Peterside in recognition of all he has done to develop Opobo Kingdom.His efforts at empowering our youths, women and men, is unequalled and hiscontributions at developing the Local Government and Rivers State.'In view of this, Opobians in Diaspora have come together as one group to showour support for him. We have begun extensive publicity using several socialnetworks to mobilize our people for this cause. In the coming days this groupwill go all out to sensitive our people and voters of the constituency backhome through various available media.'Hon Dakuku Peterside is a worthy son of Ibani Kingdom who the cap fitsperfectly well to represent our people in the House of Rep. This is the messagethe Forum - Opobians in Diaspora is determined to sell to the whole world andto do everything we can to see to his election”.
