CONFERENCE ANNOUNCEMENT!!!
HOPE FOR NIGER DELTA CAMPAIGN is a non governmental, non profit organization based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The organization was founded in responds to the environmental and social expediencies prevalent in the Niger Delta Region of Nigeria and Africa in general.
The organization has been in the fore front of a global campaign for an environmental policy that will explicate the riveted issues of pollution, degradation, and human displacements in developing countries.
Hope for Niger Delta Campaign is widely acknowledged as a vanguard for championing the cause of the less privileged communities. It stands as a potent advocacy for social justice, equal opportunities, infrastructural and human developments.
As a matter of fact, Hope for Niger Delta campaign represents the interest of Nigeria’s oil producing Niger Delta region. One of the main focal interests of the organization is the exposure of the facts behind the ever deepening environmental crisis and the preceding government action/inaction.
As a precursor to remedying the crisis, the organization is hosting a conference on the economic and social challenges presented by this environmental scourge.
This conference will seek to proffer lasting solutions to the perennial violence in the area.
The conference will also be used as a platform to encourage dialogue between all stakeholders in the Niger Delta project.
The conference is expected to be a quintessential gathering for distinguished personalities of all times including, academics, environmentalists, politicians and socialists to deliver key note address.
