NO JUSTICE FOR THE POOR,IN NIGERIA

By Comrade Ojeremen Stephen

There is a saying in Edo language that if one because of his or her enemy made a law with due time the law will turn arround to trap who made it.Again,we always say and beleive on NO one is above the law.Is the government of president Yar'Adua, confirming former Governors conviction as political?Alamiyeseigha`s presidential welcome and his involvement as peace keeper in Niger-Delta,are they telling Nigerians and the international community that our peace keepers are corrupt officials? Will Nigeria government return the assets curently frozen? Will Alamiyeseigha request the firing of EFCC chairman for peace to reign in Niger-Delta?Nigerians are waiting for this answers.

Let it be knwon that,if president Yar'Adua does not play all through to the side of Nigerians he will certainly not make it running Nigeria. This is knwon fact. The president must operate away from CORRUPTION across the country and he must operate transparently staying clean and ensuring all in his government stay clean.I think i have confident in president Yar'Adua,as a person but he is yet to break off from Obasanjo`s grip and stamp his authority in his job, that is what everybody is waiting for until he does that he will not be acclaimed to his rightful position as his own man.Yes,he has started very well by declaring his assets and he needs to shak up the system and make other public officials follow suit.He needs to sound a clear warning to them to declare their assets or face the consequences. He needs to be aware that Nigerians are not going to have the patience they had with the Obasanjo`s government, this is because of Obasanjo`s misrule and plundring of billions into the failed third term agenda, plundring of billions into the failed National Constitutional Conference, plundring of billions into the failed National Sensus, plundring of billions into the failed INEC election, etc.Surely the Nigerians patience is ran out.

I humbly submit:President Yar'Adua`s administration is yet to be seen, moreso that his coming to the office was through gross violation of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.I believe that his political godfather overriding interest will be allowed to eclipse the interest of the citizenry subsequently this will engender over manipulation of the nation`s machinery because he who pays the piper dictate the tune. Can the masses hope for a qualitative education when the sons and daughters of our leaders are studying in FIVE STAR schools abroad?Would president Yar'Adua, commoner hope for justice from a government whose foundation is strongly rooted in injustice.Although i have a feeling that president Yar'Adua,is a humble personage, but can he put food on the table of poor Nigerians who do not have hope for one square meal a day especially the youths through liberal economic polices?I watches with suspicious countenace as the new president Yar'Adua, attempt to weather the storm of atempesteous governance of a beleguered masses whose hearts are in their mouths having been rudely raped of their rights in our political dispensation.

I have said it many times that laws in Nigeria is made to protct the rich that have stolen public money.Laws are made to punish the poor who dare challenge the rich politicians who has stolen public money.Thank God people of Nigeria are begginning to see and feel what i saw 5 years ago which motivated me and my right followers to embark on difusing intriques and power play planted by the political class, through enlightments campaigns. The rich politicians and famous do not obey the laws, the laws is only for the poor who dare challenge the rich political class.Alot of suspect who stole only hundrend thousand naira etc.stays more than three years in jail before they could appear in the court talkless of granting them bail.

Our politicians stolen billions from the public pocket are been granting bail and they are free and travelling all over the glob. What is the government trying to tell us?When will Nigeria leaders move from bad ways to good? Why would they want to see poor people suffer more and more until they are no more? There is no JUSTICE in Nigeria as far as I,am concerned,Why not confiscate all properties in Nigeria and hand them over to the governors,so that we negotiate our freedom back from them? Its a shame!Lord,on behalf of those without a VOICE,please let me be heard,we do not need satellite nor astronauts but good roads that both the POOR and the rich can have asses to,Let drinkable water flow for the rich and the POOR,stable electicity supply for the rich and the POOR,free education from primary school to secondary school level for the rich and the POOR,Youths empowerment for the rich and the POOR and wealth creation, etc.

I must commend those parties and individuals whose mandate were stolen, now in tribunals battling to get justice. They should not compromise with fraudsters nor tolerate their acts.General Buhari,Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and other individuals needs to be praised for their continued battle for justice.Their acts is fully justified and should be supported massively. These people deserves the utmost praise and if we are to progress in our political dispensation,we need a strong opposition parties, without it we are doomed.

Above all,We should not decieve ourselves on the problem and solution of Niger-Delta.The government knows who they are.Who are they? They are the government and friends of the government. Those gun totting youths works for the government.Don't you think if the militants are on their own, don't you think the government could had dealt with them even before this stage? This is the question we must ask ourselves. However,if the government is very serious about bringing to an end of the Niger-Delta crisis, why don't they get the sources of those bombs and guns since those weapons didn't fall from heaven but it came from somewhere and they cost alot. The government should investigate and inform us.(Asari has accused many of the even the ex-president point blank and what has the government done)If such is not done, then the government should forget the peaceful and boasting talk of calming down the problem.Sincerity is what we need.

Everyone of us know that government can handle this situation but because they too are part of the deal they dont want to come out straight. But am sorry for the youths involved even their parents, because they will wake up one day and see that their land has become no-mans land.Violence is not the best solution to ther problem.
