Amen Foundation Cataract Surgery for Lagor State

I am pleased to inform you that 97 surgeries were successfully carried out during the Free Cataract Surgeries Programme conducted by Amen Health Care and Empowerment Foundation and the Prevention of Blindness Unit of the Ministry of Health, Lagos State from 3-6 July 2007.
 
Ikeja Pearl Lions with the support of the Ministry of Health, Lagos State, also gave out 111 special glasses on the first day of the Programme.
 
Detailed report will be sent in due course.
 
I wish to take this opportunity to express profound gratitude to all those who supported this Programme, particularly, Sight Savers International, the National Programme for the Prevention of Blindness and the Ministry of Health, Lagos State.
