The Anatomy of Success: The Head
God speaks to his children through things around them. Solomon said in the book of Proverbs that we should go to the ant consider her ways and be wise. (Proverbs 6v6)
Day unto day uttereth speech night unto night sheweth knowledge. When we look at ourselves we see God’s inbuilt principles and instructions for success. In this series of BasicPrinciples short, easy to read and reader friendly write ups, we would be looking at the human body to see success principles inherent in the body, The Anatomy of success. (Psalm 19v2)

    The head

The head is a vital part of the human body. A man’s success amongst other things is dependent on how effectively and efficiently he uses his head. Vital organs of the body; the brain, eyes, mouth, the tongue, the ears, the nose are all in the head. These organs reveal to us some knowledge about essential principles about success.
The head represents leadership. Leadership is crucial for success.  Jesus was led by the spirit. No wonder he demonstrated such power. (Mark 1v12, Luke 4v14)
Anointing flows from the head. Blessings are placed on the head. Hands are laid on the head. If the whole head is sick, the whole heart is faint. The head is a symbol of positional leadership. Smite the shepherd and the sheep would be scattered. (Isaiah 1v5, Zechariah 13v7)

We are exhorted to pray for our leaders, advise them and support them. Jesus asked his disciples to pray with him. Esther and Paul requested for prayers. Prayers helped Daniel and Peter in difficult times. Good advice helped Esther, Pharaoh and Moses. Leaders need help and assistance.

Our heads are crucial to our success.
The head contains the brain, the thinking box of the human being. As a man thinketh so is he. Organizing, planning, strategizing take place in the head. It has been discovered that the brain is the most unused part of the human body. It exists however for a reason. God himself thinks “For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, thoughts of peace and not of evil to give you an expected end”
Use your brain more often, more constructively and more frequently and you are sure headed towards improvement and success. Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things that are of good report, if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. (Jeremiah 29v 11, Phillipians4v8)

We would continue our discussion. Think and do something about it.
Many well wishing thoughts from me.
