OMEHIA’S CANDIDATURE - A BLESSING TO PDP … CGG

A group known as Coalition for Good Governance (CGG), has congratulated Sir Celestine Omehia, for his nomination as the Flag bearer of the People Democratic Party (PDP). In his statement, the co-ordinator of the group, Mr. Ben Uchechukwu, said it was God’s wish that Sir Omehia become the Gubernatorial candidate on the platform of PDP, stressing that with this development the PDP was sure to clinch victory at the April polls.

He further called on aggrieved members of the party to come together as a family to ensure that PDP retains Rivers State.

Mr. Uchechukwu took a swipe at a group calling itself the Riverine-Ijaw Consultative Assembly, stating that a minute of part of the State can not speak for the entire populace of Rivers State. “Omehia is the candidate for the masses. You must have heard or seen the jubilation that met his nomination. He is a humble and easy going person, a friend to the common man. Rivers people need a cool headed, Godfearing man to take over from our leader, Governor Peter Odili. Sir Celestine Omehia is the right man for the job”, stated Mr. Uchechukwu.

Signed.

Ben Uchechukwu

Co-ordinator.
