Home away from home

My name is Nnanna Michael Onumah. I school in Eastern Mediterranean University, Famagusta, North Cyprus. I am a high honor in the school. One may ask which home is the home away from home.

The home away from home is the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus [TRNC].  Northern Cyprus is an island located in the Mediterranean Sea close to turkey.  Northern Cyprus is a peaceful island with so many good in it. The environment is cool and interesting to be in no wonder tourists from all parts of the world come to spend quality and pleasurable time in northern Cyprus which has so many interesting places to visit like the beach, ancient places with historical antiques, plantations etc. the people of Northern Cyprus are hospitable and nice. I could recall the first time I came here a woman took me in and fed me and the next time I went 2 a shop to buy some groceries, I forgot to collect my balance . The store keeper had to follow me outside to give me back my balance. Isn’t that rare?   Education wise, TRNC ensures that the schools there give quality education in a very nice conducive environment. The weather is favorable for humans and crops all round the year no wonder it’s called the land of all seasons. There are no crimes in the TRNC and the security systems are always at alert. There is a variety food and meal in the country which is nutritional and nourishes one’s body. One is exposed to various cultures and people from all works of life. I enjoy my stay here in TRNC even though my family isn’t here with me. I still find it interesting because TRNC and it’s  people are nice, loving and caring.
