I want to use this medium to say a big thank you to the great people of ohafia-agba town in ishielu east local government of ebonyi state. These great set of people were so good to me when i was  posted to thier small town for my nysc primary assignment.i must confess that before i set out for ebonyi state for my nysc stint ,i had heard a lot of terrible things about the east and igbos in general but by the time i got to the orientation camp at 'sharon' iyimagu,i needed no one to tell me that i was indeed in good hands.Right from the orientation camp, ebonyians treated us to the best of hospitality, they reinforced my belief in the fact that as nigerians ''in brotherhood we stand''.we were treated to the best hospitality ebonyians could offer.when we were finally posted to ohafia -agba town, the villagers welcomed us with open hands, they took us as their own and made us as comfortable as they could.what really baffled me about them was the fact that they gave us the  most beautiful building in the whole town as our corpers lodge.Great credit must be given to the great 'ORJI FAMILY'' for their benevolence in allowing corpers to inhabit the house left behind by their illustrious son who was a former secretary to the state government of enugu state under  the military era.ohafia -agba indigenes really impressed us with their hospitality and love, they succeeded in eroding all our misgivings about the igbo race.they gave us their all without holding anything back throughout our one year stay with them. I would like to seize this opportunity to advise the federal government not to succumb to the whims of certain people who have called for the scrapping of the nysc scheme.the scheme I must confess  has really achieved its primary aim of cultural integration among nigerian youths.it has also been very effective in changing our orientation concerninig tribal issues in the country.serving in ebonyi state really exposed us to the stark realities of life.we encountered a breed of people who were not rich in terms of material wealth but well endowed in culture and hospitality. without mincing words,if there was a second chance to serve my fatherland again, i would gladly do it all over again with ebonyi state''the salt of the nation.finally i would like to seize this opportunity to say a big thank you to ohafia-agba indigenes for thier hospitality, the great ''ORJI'' family for their benevolence and the entire staff and students of community secondary school, ohafia -agba for giving us an opportunity to serve.long live NYSC.long live OHAFIA AGBA TOWN.long live EBONYI STATE.long live the FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA
