Nigeria my Nigeria

Nigeria of proud ignorant and blind men

Nigeria the land of my ancestors

Who sold their children to slavery

The land of black gold

The gold of our condemnation

Nigeria tell me Nigerians

The nation every one wants to wear a designers dress

The land a mother is offended if her child buys her Nigerian wax instead of holandais

Nigeria tell me Nigerians

The land of no creation

The nation of greedy leaders

The land where a cheater (419er) is considered intelligent

The land a criminal is strongly supported by the law

Nigeria tell me Nigerians

The land people prefers to buy tin tomatoes

While fresh tomatoes gets rotten in the market

The land people prefers tomapep and tatase is left for the poor

Nigeria tell me Nigerians

The land a fellow Nigerian comes home with his or her baby

and can’t take a taxi because the baby’s skin is white

The land a fellow Nigerian comes home to invest and

all he or she gets in return is theft and if unlucky will loose his or her life

Nigeria tell me Nigerians, the land people think of today

And so many are not thinking of tomorrow

The land people make children and so many don’t think

of how the innocent children will survive

Nigeria the land where a rich man instead of opening a factory

for the poor to work and earn their living prefers to spray money

in ceremonies or give money so people will say he’s a nice man

Nigeria tell me Nigerians

The land people come home to visit their families and get

Kidnapped by own relatives

The land one comes home after living in peace elsewhere

to die in the hands of armed rubbers

The land people come home after living safely elsewhere to die from bad health care

Nigeria tell me Nigerians

The people that are not proud of their culture

The place there are always religious fights

The place the idol worshipers (our culture) are been discriminated

Where the traditional cultures are not entittled to school and other

Public holidays

The place every one believes in God for miracles and very few

Are doing to create good life

Nigeria tell me Nigerians

The land no one can produce milk because Nigerians prefers foreign milk

The land no one can produce cheese because it will not be consumed by Nigerians

and those that eats cheese will prefer the foreign one

The land people prefers frozen chicken instead of making a farm

Nigeria tell me Nigerians

The land people will tell you sister you no go dey abroad make your mama send you jeans from Nigeria, God no go let am happen

The land parents send their daughters willing abroad to prostitute for their well being

Nigeria tell me Nigerians

The land every one wants to be a pastor

The land pastors are called daddy

The land people instead of spending at least 30 hours a week cultivating spend 40 hours a week in the churh (from Sunday service to night vigils)

The land almost every believes only God can do it

Nigeria tell me Nigerians or I rather say Nigeria wake up Nigerians

Nigerians open your eyes and see clearly

Nigerians why do you wait for people to teach you what to do?

Nigerians why are you living in this ignorance?

Nigeria do something

Nigerian government work for the nations

Stop exporting all our crude oil

Bring experts to refine in Nigeria and teach the indigins how to refine

Nigerians help your patroit

Nigerians buy Nigerian products

Nigerians produce and learn to preserve locally

Wealthy Nigerians invest wisely

Invest in food

Invest in clothing

Invest in all ways

Open up factories people can work and earn their living

Nigeria the land of black gold

Nigeria does not need international charity

Willingly we can do it

Stand up Nigerians and work for our nation

LETS WORK TOGETHER AND BUILD NIGERIA

WE WANT TO CONTINUE BEING THE PROUD LIONS

OF AFRICA

NOT SAYING IT BUT VISIBLY
