EPL: Chelsea, Not Arsenal, Man City Are Threat To Liverpool’s Title Ambition

Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk has tipped Chelsea as the real threat to the Reds’ Premier League title ambition.

Recall that Liverpool is four points adrift of the Blues with a game in hand. Chelsea defeated its London rival, Tottenham, 4-3 on Sunday, while Liverpool’s game against Everton was postponed.

Speaking with Dailymail, Van Dijk stated that the Blues have the quality to challenge Liverpool for the title.

‘I don’t think they are under the radar. Obviously with the squad they have and the players they have. The players that can come off the bench.

‘Obviously we can talk about inexperience maybe but they have the quality, they have the players to make it difficult for any team and that is what they have been doing so they are definitely up there.

‘I think they have shown it.’
